“When Life Is the Only Wish”

Pregnancy is not the same for everyone. Not every expecting family wonders, “Will I bring home a boy or a girl?” Some pregnancies carry a different question: “Will I bring my baby home at all?”

For some parents, it is not about the baby’s gender ….

it is about whether the baby will be healthy,

whether the baby will be born safely,

whether the birth will be full-term or premature.

Not all pregnancies focus on normal delivery or C-section…

some focus simply on survival.

Not all nurseries are about blue or pink ..

some are about preparing for a baby who might need monitors, oxygen, or special care just to breathe.

And not all fathers think of having a son or a daughter …

many only pray for one thing:

A living child in their arms.

So the next time you worry about whether it should be a girl or a boy, about whether a son would be better, or a daughter is needed, about carrying forward a lineage — pause, and think.

You and I are not the same.

Our journeys are not the same.

Our thoughts are not the same.

Not all wombs are the same.

Not all hearts carry the same stories.

Some hearts are wounded —broken, bleeding, silently hopeful.

Some babies are not “just babies.” They are miracles.

Some are rainbows after storms, born after loss, after fear, after waiting.

For families like these, a baby’s arrival is enough!!their breathing is enough!! “their survival is everything.” Because sometimes,it’s not about boy or girl at all…It’s simply about life.
