The Gayatri Mantra which every hindu brother/sister learns..
The Gayatri mantra is, in Devanagari:
- ॐ भूर्भुवः स्वः ।
- तत्स॑वि॒तुर्वरेण्यं॒
- भर्गो॑ दे॒वस्य॑धीमहि ।
- धियो॒ यो नः॑ प्रचो॒दया॑त् ॥
In IAST:
- oṃ bhūr bhuvaḥ svaḥ
- tatsaviturvareṇyaṃ
- bhargo devasyadhīmahi
- dhiyo yo naḥ pracodayāt
- – Rigveda 3.62.10[11]
Meaning:
We meditate on that most adored Supreme Lord, the creator, whose effulgence (divine light) illumines all realms (physical, mental and spiritual). May this divine light illumine our intellect.
Surah Fatiha which every single Muslim by-heart since young age !
Transliteration – Bismillaah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem
Al hamdu lillaahi rabbil ‘alameen
Ar-Rahman ar-Raheem Maaliki yaumid Deen
Iyyaaka na’abudu wa iyyaaka nasta’een
Ihdinas siraatal mustaqeem
Siraatal ladheena an ‘amta’ alaihim
Ghairil maghduubi’ alaihim waladaaleen
Aameen
Meaning – In the name of God, the infinitely Compassionate and Merciful.
Praise be to God, Lord of all the worlds.
The Compassionate, the Merciful. Ruler on the Day of Reckoning.
You alone do we worship, and You alone do we ask for help.
Guide us on the straight path,
the path of those who have received your grace;
not the path of those who have brought down wrath, nor of those who wander astray.
Amen.
What’s the matter with the world? Why don’t we learn and understand !
The great thought

When you taste a fruit and want to describe, you will eventually fail to transmit complete experience. Language has its limits. That is why people are lost. But ancients, who discovered these lines that you wrote, knew of that limitations. That is why one system adopted the path of master-student and the other, a form of religion. But both the systems diluted over the time, as a rule of nature
