Self love

Self-love is a state of appreciation for oneself that grows from actions that support our physical, psychological and spiritual growth. Self-love means having a high regard for your own well-being and happiness. Self-love means taking care of your own needs and not sacrificing your well-being to please others. Self-love means not settling for less than you deserve.

Self love can differ from person to person but the similar thing is that it helps you to grow as a person individually at every field. There can be lots of ways to have self care. Self care isn’t called being selfish. You may think that you are being selfish. But caring for yourself and keeping yourself first is never called being selfish
What does self-love mean to you?
—Talking to and about yourself with love
Prioritizing yourself
–Giving yourself a break from –self-judgement
Trusting yourself
Being true to yourself
–Being nice to yourself
–Setting healthy boundaries
Forgiving yourself when you aren’t –being true or nice to yourself

Self-love means accepting yourself as you are in this very moment for everything that you are. It means accepting your emotions for what they are and putting your physical, emotional and mental well-being first.

When you make a mistake, respond to yourself in a loving way rather than a self-shaming way.”- Ellie Holcomb.

“We just need to be kinder to ourselves. If we treated ourselves the way we treated our best friend, can you imagine how much better off we would be?”- Meghan Markle

“Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one’s definition of your life, but define yourself.”- Harvey Fierstein

Self-love is not being selfish; it is just putting yourself first and not being too tough on yourself. So next time you hear that little voice in your head telling you that you are not good enough or that you cannot afford to make mistakes; just ignore it.

When our loved ones make a mistake we often forgive them easily, but when we make a mistake we are often too hard on ourselves.

The first step of self-love is realising that we are only human and it is okay to make mistakes; it is okay to lose at times; it is okay to not have the best day…week…or month.

All we need to do is love ourselves and let the negative things pass through; eventually things will change and bad times will pass.

Love yourself to the fullest Because you deserve the love and care.💓💓
